Interestingly, the title screen of the machine language start of the game says
(c) 1981 Compucolor.

This game supports Soundware-based sound effects.

You can directly get to the game from FCS by typing "RUN AST"
The controls are the bottom four keys of the numeric keypad.

    0   rotate ship ccw
    .   rotate ship cw
    =   fire a missile
    +   fire engines
    -   hyperspace

Unfortunately, a typical PC keyboard doesn't have the same keyboard
layout.  More unfortunately, at least my keyboard doesn't have an
"=" key on the numeric keypad, so nothing maps to numeric-keypad-equals
in the emulator, so there is no way to fire a missile! I thought of
mapping the numeric keypad ENTER key as numeric-keypad-equals, but
at least on Firefox, the regular ENTER and the numeric keypad ENTER
are indistinguishable.
